Dr. Marchetti holds a doctorate in War Studies from King's College London and was awarded the Légion d'honneur (Chevalier) in 2022 for contributions to open-source strategic analysis. She signs the annual State of the Prophecy Index.

How the Bench Is Built

Coverage is geographic. Accountability is personal.

The analyst desk is structured as a credentialed intelligence service — not a contributor network. Three principles govern staffing, posting, and authorship of every published forecast.

Regional posting, not freelancing

Each senior analyst is physically posted to one of 19 capital cities — Brussels, Berlin, Paris, London, Warsaw, Istanbul, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, New Delhi, Brasília, Buenos Aires, Washington, Lagos, Cairo, Riyadh, and Geneva. Forecasts are written from inside the region they cover, in the working hours of the relevant theatre.

Bilingual English / French desk

All briefs are drafted in English and reviewed in French at the Geneva bureau before publication. Source material is read in its original language — Mandarin, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Bahasa — by analysts operating in those theatres. No translation artefacts are introduced into the Lattice Convergence weighting.

Every forecast is signed

Every published event carries the name of the responsible senior analyst, the confidence interval they have staked their professional reputation on, and the dissenting view of the assigned red-team reviewer. Readers know exactly who is on the line for each call.

From the Methodology

"A signature is a stake. When an analyst's name appears beneath a confidence interval, the forecast acquires a public record it cannot outlive — and the analyst acquires a reason to overweight evidence over instinct. The Lattice Convergence model was designed from the first line of code to produce signed forecasts, not anonymous ones. The 47 structured indicators do not converge until a named officer, in a named capital, on a named date, agrees to be wrong in public if the model is wrong."
