So what is the problem with being a freemason while speaking “against” the NWO?

Simple:

Freemasons are tools. As individuals they are powerless, but as part of the order they have a function. Freemasons are to execute orders from the lodge without questioning. Penalty for disobedience is death. One way to view masonry is as the army of the elite which controls them through the highest degree (33rd).

The small ones have little clue as to why they are doing what they’re doing.

They go for it to receive social benefits.
Those benefits in business and social standing are being granted to ensure that the pawns of masonry have access to important positions in order for the whole to function more efficiently.
