About The Book of Enoch

Enoch was the 7th descendant of Adam and the great grandfather of Noah. He lived for 365 years and walked with God for 300 years before he left the earth without having to go through death. Enoch was taken by God and it was said that,

Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. (Gen. 5:24)

The Book of Enoch is considered a pseudepigraphic work ascribed to Enoch and no scholar actually believes that it was really written by the great grandfather of Noah. But whatever current scholar believes, Jude, a writer of the Epistle of Jude, which made it into the biblical canon, refered to the book of Enoch in his letter and even quoted one of the verses there.  If a Holy Spirit inspired person like Jude, would find the Book of Enoch credible enough to quote from, it is prove enough for me that it has G-d’s approval.

The Book of Enoch is about a personal journal of Enoch, great grandfather of Noah, in the time when 200 angels landed on earth and taught the human beings to become so evil that God decided to wipe them all away with the great flood. The Book of Enoch about the fallen angels is the beginning of all evil in this world. To understand the present and see the future, we have to understand the past. I believe this book is where we should start.
